With these ideas in mind, we focus on the following aspects to ensure we attract, recruit, retain and develop the best people in the world: Close relationships with Universities, both locally and internationally Belatrix has very good relationships with local Universities such as Universidad Teconológica Nacional (UTN), Universidad de Mendoza y Universidad Champagnat among others as well as with international institutions such as Utah Valley State University. We sponsor plenty of different activities in these institutions such as training programs, internships, scholarships, etc. We understand that Universities are a key component in our value chain and we invest in helping them produce the best professionals possible. Provide opportunities to young professionals We have a number of different programs that allow young professionals to start their career with fun and challenging assignments. Our internships are renowned and highly contested among young graduates. Invest heavily in training and development programs The IT field changes so rapidly and it is also so demanding that we know we can not rely on our people picking up new technologies and skills solely on their own. We have a Professional Development Area at Belatrix that works with our Human Resource Area and our leadership to identify training needs and coordinate appropriate programs to train our people. In 2008, we provided over 400 hours of on-site technical training and over 600 hours of in-company English language training. Provide the best professional development experience possible Good IT professionals are curious by nature so it is important to provide them with new challenges constantly. In order to achieve this, we provide them with the opportunity of working on different projects, technologies, etc. This certainly keeps people excited and sharp with excitement.
