I’m delighted to share the news that Belatrix has been awarded a silver Stevie Award for Employer of the Year by the American Business Awards. There were more than 550 nominations from 21 countries. For those of you not familiar with the awards, the “Stevie Awards for Great Employers” recognize the world’s best employers, and the human resources professionals, who help create great places to work.
On Friday evening, our VP of Business Development, Joe Aglio, attended the gala in New York to receive the awards. In his acceptance speech, Joe said that “at the core of our success are our employees. So I’m dedicating the award to all of our employees”. I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment.
Chosen through a process of public votes and scores from judges, Belatrix was recognized for its exceptional recruitment processes, developing a fun, high-performing culture, offering all employees access to industry-leading training programs, and its efforts in creating an inclusive work environment.
In assessing the award winners, the judges provided us with their feedback, and I want to share here some of their quotes, because they get to the heart of why people want to work with us, and why we were awarded the prize:
“Internal promotion and ongoing education for employees helps to keep the organization current with latest trends, focus on the importance of the onboarding process and encouragement of women in technology all speak to effective leadership – congratulations!”
“Great to see employers giving scholarships to those who aren’t supported by their peers”
“Very well done. Awesome programs. I loved reading about TOMO [total motivation] and the program Successful Women in Technology.”
“I appreciate your detailed accomplishments since 2017 particularly your focus on culture which is so very important.”
Reading these quotes makes me feel honored and proud. So I want to express my thanks again to everyone at Belatrix for making the award possible. Thank you!
