Celebrating a hugely successful hackathon

On Saturday we were joined by hundreds of software developers, coders, Scrum Masters, UX experts, and technology enthusiasts for the latest edition of the Hackatrix in Bogotá. We’ve seen the event grow and grow, as we’ve taken it throughout different cities in Latin America, from Lima to Buenos Aires to Mendoza.

More than 45 teams participated and they were evaluated on innovation and popularity. The winning team in the innovation category developed a prototype of a platform that could help cities coordinate the donation of food from restaurants that could be offered to people in need. The winning team in the popularity category came up with the idea of a mobile application that could help students in higher education find short-term employment.

Check out some of the photos from the event! And, for more details about the Hackatrix, you can read the full press release here.
