As part of a new initiative focused on the vibrant FinTech sector, Belatrix attended FinTech week in London.
Belatrix Software is launching a new initiative in the UK aimed at the dynamic FinTech sector, based on its success in the US. Here Belatrix has worked with pioneering organizations in developing, for example, a cardless mobile ATM system for a leading financial services organization.
As part of this launch Belatrix attended FinTech Week in London. The event, one of the biggest of its kind worldwide, consisted of a hackathon followed by a four day conference hosted in the heart of London. The event brought together leading figures in the world of FinTech, from government officials, to developers, start-ups, accountants, lawyers, traders, fund managers, investors and entrepreneurs.
Belatrix was there to share our insight on the rapidly moving world of finance, with a particular focus on the payment and capital markets. Fintech continues to grow rapidly: global investment in private fintech companies totaled $5.7 billion in just the first quarter of 2016, representing an increase of 96% compared to the same quarter one year earlier.
“We have worked with some of the best known companies in the US including household names such as AOL and Adobe. As part of this we have developed many financial solutions for the banking and insurance sectors, particularly with mobile, so we are ideally placed to support the rapid growth of FinTech in the UK. One area of specialisation is quality assurance where for example we helped Disney test and improve the user experience (UX) for their entertainment websites. I am very excited to be spearheading this initiative,” shared Alex Robbio, President & Co-Founder at Belatrix Software.
