Belatrix Software’s founders Luis Robbio, Federico Robbio and Alex Robbio received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, recognition to successful entrepreneurs from the business and social environment at the EY program
Belatrix Software, a leading LatAm software developer, has been awarded by EY as “Emergent Entrepreneur of the year.” This important award recognizes successful and talented entrepreneurs with great growth potential in their industries.
The program Entrepreneur of the Year was created 30 years ago in the United States and has recognized companies such as Chobani, Dell, LinkedIn and Google and started operating in Argentina in 2011. For the last 6 years, EY Argentina has recognized companies including heavyweights like Mercado Libre and Despegar.com in five different categories based on the effort and success of business entrepreneurs and the social commitment of non-governmental organizations.
Belatrix Software Co-Founders Alex Robbio, Federico Robbio and Luis Robbio were previously invited to present their case in front of a panel of local businessmen and successful entrepreneurs. After passing that hard test, Belatrix was awarded with the first place in the Gala this Thursday night in Buenos Aires.
“It is with great pleasure that we receive this recognition by EY. Belatrix’s growth plans are very aggressive and demand constant evolution of our strategies and services. Receiving this award from a leading company like EY and most importantly by a panel composed by some of the country’s top business people helps us realize we’re on the right track, by delivering value to our customers, providing great opportunities to our people and doing good in the communities where we operate,” shared Luis Robbio, CEO of Belatrix Software.
The company has a track record of success and recognitions. It’s been recently awarded with a top spot on the Great Place To Work competition. And among other important achievements, it is also part of the worldwide entrepreneurial network Endeavor. “We’re currently operating in 4 countries, with more than 500 employees and serving over 50 clients, many of them Fortune 500 companies. Starting with only a handful of people in Mendoza back in 2001, it seemed as a very distant dream so we are certainly proud of what we have achieved along with our great management team,” shared Alex Robbio, President of Belatrix. Federico Robbio, President of Finance and Talent added that “while I am happy of what we have been able to create so far, I am most excited about what’s to come as we don’t have any plans of slowing down!”
