Belatrix Software has released its Brazucup Fixture App to allow fans to keep current on the happenings in Brazil during the 2014 World Cup. The app, designed for Android mobile devices, provides information such as scores, team formations, match schedules, and tournament rounds. It also includes a desktop widget that lets users keep track of each day’s schedule and results.
Among the innovations that the app boasts is its social network compatibility. Using concepts of gamification and social media, the app provides a platform for users to predict results and share predictions with Facebook friends. Users can create their own prediction pools and set a prize purse for the tournament bracket.
Brazucup was developed by Belatrix Software’s Mobile Lab, which is dedicated to research and development in Android and iOS mobile applications. Brazucup is the team’s first app to be launched in the market.
“I am impressed by how the team combined important trends such as mobility, social media, and gamification while providing a highly functional, attractive, and easy-to-use app,” shared Alex Robbio, Co-Founder and Vice President of Business Development of Belatrix Software. “Brazucup is proof of Belatrix Software’s innovation and relevance in the mobile market.”
The app is available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese to allow a wide audience to use it. The app has over 27,000 downloads and positive ratings and reviews in the Playstore. Additional features are its simplicity, stability, design, and intuitive UI (User Interface).
