DevOps is consolidated and has already become commonplace within organizations with software projects. Sometimes you can make the mistake of seeing it only as a tool, and thus only focus on containers and pipelines. Thereby, you forget that DevOps is not just about improving the way our applications are deployed, but also, among other things, about generating continuous learning about how they work and how they are being used.
Therefore, the tool market for monitoring applications has been maturing in recent years far beyond what was previously the analysis of logs. Today, we see real-time analysis, predictive suggestions, detection of performance degradation, topology analysis of applications, management of cloud subscriptions, and more.
With this as a background, we decided to carry out an analysis of several SaaS (software as a service) solutions available in the market. The objective is not to choose “the best”, but to provide the basis upon which to choose properly a solution according to the needs of an organization.
